Planning Services and Optimisation
Planning and Optimisation Services provide for a more effective transport of goods, better staff assignments and improved field services. They allow planning for service tasks of craftsmen or nursing staff as well as equipping supermarkets.Planning services are performed as web services using SOAP-XMP-interfaces. They work on a basis of a scalable and independent planning system. All optimisation services can be used on VIOM servers or in your own home. Usage models range from one-time licensing up to “pay per use” thus offering a lot of possibilities.
The planning server is multi-session capable and thus able to deal with various planning requests at a time. Resulting in numerous material requirement planners being able to work with the system simultaneously.
