Though VIOM is young, it has decades of experience in optimising business processes and the realisation of software solutions for transport, traffic, administration and science.

Head start through innovation

The VIOM GmbH Berlin as a small, quick-witted software house, was founded in April 2002. It contributes to optimisation systems and GEO-Iinformatics with a focus on the adoption of new technologies for a society that becomes more mobile every day.
With optimisation systems and GIS-applications, which are consequently based on the SOA-architecture and can be used as Web-Service in many applications, we are operating in an area in which the manifold realisation of these solutions has just begun: Wireless LAN, GPRS, UMTS, Laptop and PDA require an expansion of the classical strategies in software engineering. We are providing solutions for vehicles to the depiction of demographic strategies, from Map-Depiction for Disposition-Systems via Monitoring-Applications for vehicles, to the depiction of demographic data in different forms. We cover these requirements in the area of GEO-Informatics.

A qualified team, with members originated in the disciplines of informatics, mathematics, logistics, GEO-Informatics and pedagogy is working for you. We are working for direct customers (B2C/ B2B/ B2A) and in networks with other companies in terms of strategic partnerships or as provider. Additionally, VIOM holds intensive contacts to scientific institutions, e.g. through the participation at research projects. The participation at these networks, like the FAV, TSB or the Logistiknetzwerk Berlin-Brandenburg supplements our profile.
